“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Lovenever ends.”
(I Corinthians 13: 7-8a ESV)
Spring had barely began to show itself, the clouds kept rolling in bringing a chilly breeze along with them, but you would never know it watching Krista and Conner smile and snuggle through their engagement session along the Whitewater Canal. That’s what true love and the confidence of an enduring relationship does. It brings sunshine on the grey days and makes you smile because you know you are with the one you’re meant to be with.
Krista and Conner met back in high school through a match questionnaire. They must have had all the right answers, because here they are 6 years, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 chickens later lighting up the canal with kisses, nuzzles and laughter like it was a warm summer day.
It was on a beautiful day this past fall when Conner surprised Krista, asking her to become his bride surrounded by family during a trip to the apple orchard. He carefully planned everything out asking family members to have a camera and special props ready to capture the moment and make it just perfect. That’s how it continued today each one of them doing tiny little things to make the day…perfect. Krista smoothing his undershirt sleeves down so they weren’t bunched up and showing through his over shirt. Conner making Krista smile and laugh. It was a wonderful thing watching how the love each other without thinking about. It’s automatic, like breathing.
Krista and Conner I’m so happy for you both and can’t wait to witness the next chapter of your life together as it unfolds on your wedding day.
